The idea was to give the player the nostalgic feeling of old arcade games but in a more modern Virtual Reality setting.
We decided to combine old synth wave style elements with modern orchestral suites to highlight the epic feeling during battle.
This pushes the score into a more modern cinematic setting that is strongly married to the synth wave influences.
On the sound our major focus was on making the weapon sounds as rewarding and as powerful as possible for the gamer.
