Pretend this TVC spot is a short feature film and create a ‘score’ to accompany it. It needs to live in the world of Spielberg-esque classic movies that we all know and love.
The final piece starts off as a wholesome and nostalgic film-score inspired track that slowly becomes darker, using synth and drone elements, as the aliens true intentions are revealed to the family and audience. We were inspired by John Williams and the feelings his music provokes in movies like E.T.
This track required a delicate hand of musical story telling. The music takes you through the journey of the scenes while the story unfolds, which needed to be neatly tied up in a cohesive piece of music with a consistent theme.
